Reflection Passage at the Museum of Jewish Heritage

Lighting Science created this LED artwork as a commission to the Museum of Jewish Heritage to promote an atmosphere of contemplation and reflection in a hall linking two buildings. The Reflection Passage features an LED video wall designed by Lighting Science and a camera recognition system developed by Kinecity that tracks the shimmering reflections created by the sun and moon as they cross the sky above the waters of the Hudson River. Controlled by an artificial intelligence system, the camera moves and zooms throughout the day.
