When the LED system for 7 World Trade Center was designed, Design Works was selected for its experience and expertise to provide the custom engineering and project design needed for this project. The project showcased Design Works’ ability to flexibly engineer lighting fixtures with preset, unmodifiable design perimeters. Strategically placed motion sensors in front of the building detect movement and signal the lights to display patterns of blue and white lights accordingly. A total of 2,574 white and blue monochrome LED fixtures were constructed for this project.
