The museum commissioned LED art appropriate to its atmosphere of contemplation and reflection. The piece, developed by artist James Carpenter, is entitled “Reflection Passage”. The Reflection display utilizes the video wall system developed by Lighting Science Design Works. The video wall system consists of modular panels, each one square foot in size, and can be connected to form video walls of any shape or size. Each panel contains full color, RGB LEDs, spaced one inch apart, mounted on an aluminum support. In this project, 72 panels are combined to create a 12’ by 6’ video wall. The video wall is mounted behind a diffused glass panel, which acts as a projection screen and softens the light from the LEDs.

Imagine the first time a light bulb ever went on: How it pierced the dark where before there had only been a flame. Over a hundred years later, the industry is still in the dark, but about to receive a wake up call. And we say not a moment too soon.
Rather than a company that has inventors, we are a group of inventor with a company. We also have a mission: nothing less than to change the World. We want quality of light to stop coming with compromise, and we're making it so.
In short, our light is brilliant even when it isn't on. So to our employees, friends and customers we say: get ready to see more than ever before.
